PTS is normal. PTSD is the Disorder caused by PTS. You can have PTS without the associated Disorder. Just like you can have Anxiety without Anxiety Disorder. I had a briefing on PTS bt a retired Army Reserve General. (Medical Corps) He emphasized the point.
