What percentage of us will go to Inscom and what percent to Forcecom. If you're at a FORSCOM or an MIB, it's going to depend on your assignment as saying they are "all over the map" is an understatement.

As for the specific assignments available and percentage allocation - The Army Career Tracker (ACT - https://actnow.army.mil/) is your friend ('duty position search' under the 'plan' tab). The allocation will be "it depends" because frankly, you're a round peg that will be put in a round hole by HRC and which round holes are out there will depend on "needs of the Army".

One tip - bookmark the 35N homepage on HRC which keeps updated assignment policies, opportunities and professional development information. It also has links to the 35N Community page and Career Map on ACT.
---------------------------------------
* NSA/CSS locations - https://www.nsa.gov/about/locations/
* INSCOM Major Subordinate Commands - https://www.usainscom.army.mil/MSCs/
* HRC 35N homepage - https://www.hrc.army.mil/content/35N%20Signals%20Intelligence%20Analyst

EAMS-A Single Sign-On

Response by COL Randall C. made Oct 18 at 2024 11:31 AM 2024-10-18T11:31:26-04:00 2024-10-18T11:31:26-04:00 CSM Chuck Stafford 8890188

From a retired 35N (98C) way back when...coming out of Goodfellow, it's needs of the Army, unless you jump out of airplanes. I've served at all echelons from muddy boots (82d, 3rd SF, 25th) to COCOM (SOUTHCOM) to the mecca (NSA). 35N will provide a diverse set of opportunities...much like the COL stated. That said, an observation...soldiers who go muddy boots first tend to get a better flavor for the Army that those who get an office job. Those office jobs are not the Army experience...hit me up if you have more questions.
