As of now, we are allowing initial entry Soldiers as well, so talk to your recruiter. With that said, CI has a lot of government and civilian careers available especially if you spend a lot of time in military counter intelligence. With that said, almost every federal agency that deals with counter intelligence requires a college degree. So if your goal is CIA or FBI then consider or try to get a degree, that will make you competitive for jobs especially if that degree is in a language. But to your question CI would be a good bet.
