I'm a Senior Instructor/writer for FA BOLC-B, have been to ABIC and CTC, and have my 8 identifier. Am I authorized the Instructor Badge?

It depends on how TRADOC viewed your IDP. I have an instructor level qualification for Odnance Electronic Maintenance Training Department and ours were approve to switch over the the Army wide program. Only instructor level and higher. But, I here it will take a while for the orders to actually get out to most TRADOC units.

Once you get the orders for the badge you should be good.

You will also need the Instructional Basic Design Course on ALMS.

To get the Basic Army Instructor Badge you must instruct students for 80 hours. You have to had attended ABIC, IFSC and have the FA certificate from Proponent. The packet must be submitted through your chain of command. Any other questions contact me at 442-2097.

So different from when I left. Don't know what half those acronym's are. When I taught at the FA school we had the "Method of Instruction Course" and then went on the platform. There was no instructor badge we just wrote the pistol belt. So obviously I am of no use to your question, but curious what the badge looks like.
