You should be able to drive your POV around. You normally get more privileges as long as you don't do anything stupid to get them taken away. Make sure you don't hang out or mess with the MOS-I Soldiers while you are there.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 4 at 2019 5:37 AM2019-10-04T05:37:35-04:002019-10-04T05:37:35-04:00SGT David A. The course then offered training from many different wheeled vehicles and the proper inspections. Also the training to operate safely on many terrains that you many encounter. I wish you are very successful with the starting of a very successful life.Response by SPC Russ Bolton made Oct 4 at 2019 1:25 PM2019-10-04T13:25:52-04:002019-10-04T13:25:52-04:00SPC Private RallyPoint Member5106723<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>From what I've been told from soldiers there is only one test now and it's open book. You do get tested on vehicles also, driving test. TBH I think it's a waste of time now, I think you only get trained on 3 Vic's LHS, 915 (can't think of the other one) Marine Corps Mos training is better.Response by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 9 at 2019 9:01 AM2019-10-09T09:01:55-04:002019-10-09T09:01:55-04:00SPC Nathan Rardon5109094<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>While I went to training out of basic, those few that went from either prior service or even from changing jobs were treated like cadre and didn't have to do a lot of extra stuff trainees did. They lived in dorms, had cars, had weekends off etc. while other trainees did not. Not sure if it is the same, but that's how it was back in 04.Response by SPC Nathan Rardon made Oct 9 at 2019 8:57 PM2019-10-09T20:57:00-04:002019-10-09T20:57:00-04:00SPC Private RallyPoint Member5129720<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Semper Fi Brother. Usually you and fellow prior enlisted soldiers kind of gaggle behind formations...but as others has stated you will be treated a little differently because they expect you to behave in a manner of knowing discipline...fratinization with the newly enlisted privates is a NO-GO.Response by 1SG Mitchell Smith made Oct 16 at 2019 1:47 PM2019-10-16T13:47:11-04:002019-10-16T13:47:11-04:00SP5 Joseph Lafrance5135416<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I was an 88m in Iraq best job I ever had .
