I'm a "Dino" tanker served on the M48A3 and "Slick" M60. So, are you a "Dino", "Starship" or a "Jedi"?

"Dino" it would be! Trained on M48A3 in '68. M60 service in Ft. Carson, then M48's in Vietnam. Then training new LTs on M60s in Ft. Knox thru '71!
Funny, your post came right while I was in the middle of coordinating this year's reunion of my Carson/Vietnam unit, the 1/77 Armor.

I started out on a M48A5 in basic at Ft Knoxx in 1977, went into the M60A1 and ended my career in the M1Abrams. Was in the second battalion in the army to receive the Abrams super tank.

I was on the my1a1 at both ft Knox ( basic and ait ) now they call us 19 k. then ft Irwin and when we did tank on tank training I was on a 113 with a bradly turret. They called it a mbt (main battle tank ) we called it a mbt ( make believe tank ) 2/11 golf troop Armored cav

I was a Regular Army Dino tanker 11ER8 M60A1 & A3 + M551 Sheridan, 2/8 Cav & 70th Armor-4th ID 1975-1979 & NJARNG 1989-1990. I was Field Artillery 1970-1975 105MM towed, MDARNG. I was Combat Engineer 1979 - 1988,TXANG.
