When I call LHI they give me a number that doesn't work. I'm at a loss here, this has been going on for weeks now. If not, why?

Ask your unit admin who is contracted to provide the profiling services for your unit, and request an appointment. Elevate it to the 1SG/CDR if the unit admin is unable to assist.

The reference is AR 40-501

For a temporary profile:
7-4c. RC Soldiers not on active duty will be medically reevaluated at least once every 3 months.... by the profiling officer.

For a permanent profile:
7-6b (5). The Soldier's commander may request a review of a permanent profile IAW para 7-12b.

Authority to issue a profile:
7–6. Profiling officer and approving authority
a. Profiling officers. Commanders of Army MTFs are authorized to designate one or more physicians, dentists, optom-etrists, podiatrists, audiologists, nurse practitioners, nurse midwives, licensed clinical psychologists, and physician assis-tants as profiling officers. The commander will assure that those designated are thoroughly familiar with the contents of this regulation. Profiling officer limitations are as follows:
(1) Physicians. No limitations except for temporary profiles that exceed 6 months that require referral to a specialist (see para 7–4c(1)).
(8) AD TRICARE Prime Remote Soldiers, Selected Reserve (TPU, AGR, IMA) and ARNG Soldiers. These Soldiers may have profiles completed via the current agencies contracted to provide these medical services. 1SG Private RallyPoint Member Mon, 25 Feb 2019 14:08:02 -0500 2019-02-25T14:08:02-05:00 Response by LTC John Shaw made Feb 25 at 2019 2:33 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/i-keep-getting-the-run-around-when-i-try-to-find-out-how-to-get-off-of-this-profile-i-ve-been-put-on-what-am-i-really-supposed-to-do?n=4400171&urlhash=4400171

Short answer is go to your Army Reserve Command S1 shop and request a medical appointment through the USAR command. If you obtained this profile from your last deployment, you will need to go back through the deployment station or whatever medical clinic your USAR Command says you must go to. You will need to be on orders or Battle Assembly or 1380 for points during this time.
Background:
Profiles are temporary or permanent.
If temporary, look at your profile end date listed on the form, the Army Reserve Commander will give the same amount of time listed in the profile to recover from the injury. Typically this is 90 or 180 days.
If permanent profile, you should have medical document that states the medical finding and it will provide the PUHLES medical assessment, for most people it is a 'picket fence' or 111111.
You are an Army Reservist, the Army Reserve Commander is responsible to helping you 1) clear the profile by validating the medical condition is resolved or 2) documenting the medical condition and making sure your PUHLES assessment is accurate, even if you are limited and non-deployable. As a reservist who put you on this profile, you will have to go thru your chain of command and get either orders to go on to an active post with a scheduled appointment or go thru the reserve medical system Logistics Health or who ever has the contract now. More information is need to anwer correctly. SSG Private RallyPoint Member Mon, 25 Feb 2019 14:57:42 -0500 2019-02-25T14:57:42-05:00 2019-02-25T13:03:58-05:00
