I just volunteered for deployments via MODS. Is there any way to ensure I get picked up for one?

SSG does your unit hold a profos list? I'd say get on that. I've not known anyone to get picked up from MODS. If you find a way, please, report back!

I did the same thing, there is typically a person who handles the volunteers within your battalion... you can check with them to see where you are on the list and if there are any units with upcoming deployments to give you a better idea of when and if you will be picked.

Just be sure that once you volunteer, you would have to un-volunteer also but you will be MED AUGMENTEE to a unit that needs that 68W. Volunteer now follows you even when you PCS also

Lol... get your wife pregnant and start some college classes. As soon as you think "now would be a really bad time for a deployment," you will definitely be picked up.
