I understand that receiving 30 points for an up vote means I have 2,000 up votes so I guess that it good. However diminishing returns rarely seems like a positive development :-)
I joined RallyPoint in March 2015 and just when I got used to 50 points for an up vote, it went down to 40. First I thought I had done something wrong and must have "earned" a down vote. Like you at first I thought I did something wrong but I looked up how Influence Points are given and learned the answer was actually a good thing for me.

At the end of the day, I don't really care about Influence Points. My biggest gripe is down votes. I think the RP programmers/website designers should change it so that a response is mandatory (versus it being optional now) whenever one hits that down vote icon.Response by PO1 John Miller made Jul 8 at 2015 1:20 PM2015-07-08T13:20:00-04:002015-07-08T13:20:00-04:00PO2 Steven Erickson801293
