<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If you are a prior service/re-classing you are authorized a barracks room upon arrival. If you have dependents listed on your orders you are authorized to obtain living quarters (usually off post), for your dependents and receive BAH. In my case, I was not allowed to keep my barracks room after the initial two weeks because the barracks were at full capacity. Usually your orders dictate whether you are authorized a move with or without dependents, you just have to ensure that they are included on your orders before they are cut.
