Way back in 1977 we were sued when three ladies were walking out of the building after work. One was looking back at the other two and tripped on the curb. She won because the curb was broken. It was broken 20 feet from where she tripped!

Today it is even worse. The first words when someone falls are "Who are you going to sue?" NOT "Are you okay?"

It is true you can sue anyone in America for anything. It is up to the court to decide if the suit has merit.

That being said, we should file a class action suit against Al for impersonating a human, and dilluting the human gene pool with his seed. He is has demonstrated time and again that he is giant douchebag. This lawsuit demonstrates that he is not just afflicted with douchebaggery, he is a carrier that spreads it to everything around him including his spawn.

The best thing that could have happened to that family is abstinence. In lieu of that I nominate the family for retroactive abortion going back to 1940.

In the city of New York if your car falls in a pot hole and you ruin your car or tire the city is responsible and will pay. No I'm not saying she should win but she has the right to sue. The apple does not fall far from the tree. Her dad has dedicated his life to being in the limelight for some legitimate issues and many frivolous cases. Many in this nation long to realize their goal of "Money for nothing." Going back as recently to the woman who sued McDonald's for spilling very hot coffee on her lap during a drive-through purchase [which resulted in warm coffee for a couple years], many people have done their best to sue for trivial reasons. Hopefully one day more people will return to sanity and focus on earning a living doing something productive and not looking for handouts from the government or chance events. I am hoping for nationwide Tort reform to reinforce those states that have adopted Tort reform.

The VA pays 10% to veterans that can show a history of joint pains. That means there is a former troop out there pulling $100 a month for doing exactly what this woman did, it just happened to occur on post and in uniform. The number of vets pulling 50%+ who aren't 50%+ disabled is disgraceful and threatens the welfare of good troops who need those ratings since they can't work.
