I have read a lot of blogs/forums where 14 types (ADA) said they hated it/boring. Do 14Es pick up skills that can be used post Army career? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/i-have-read-a-lot-of-blogs-forums-where-14-types-ada-said-they-hated-it-boring-do-14es-pick-up-skills-that-can-be-used-post-army-career <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div> Tue, 19 Dec 2017 05:34:27 -0500 I have read a lot of blogs/forums where 14 types (ADA) said they hated it/boring. Unless you’re totally okay with doing nothing most of your career except a couple of field trainings a few times a year, I’d steer clear because it is a shit show with a lack of NCOs stateside. But that’s because I haven’t been overseas. But it is a great way to get promoted. Plus the bonuses are insanely good PFC Private RallyPoint Member Sat, 20 Jan 2018 23:13:16 -0500 2018-01-20T23:13:16-05:00 Response by CPL David Hagins made Feb 10 at 2018 8:29 AM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/i-have-read-a-lot-of-blogs-forums-where-14-types-ada-said-they-hated-it-boring-do-14es-pick-up-skills-that-can-be-used-post-army-career?n=3340693&urlhash=3340693 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I was a 14T and to be honest. No ADA job has post Army job skills unless you work for Raytheon. You also have to be a minimum of a SSG to get hired by them.
