I have awesome VA hospital and medical care in IOWA CITY IA. What is your impression of the VA in your area?

I am thinking of moving to Tampa or San Antonio and would like to know what you think of your VA services. Any other area where it warm. I am from Scottsdale AZ and I know what Phoenix VA is like.

You're in luck, San Antonio has a great VA system, especially because we have such a huge military retirement city.

I live in Las Vegas and they just finished the hospital here about a year ago and the care I get at the hospital and my VA clinic is pretty damn good. If they can't help you, the refer you out to get the help you need. I also recommend using myhealth to communicate between you and your DR. Its awesome.

For 3 years I been going through the Marion VA Hospital in Marion, IL.

Been nothing but goodness to come out of it. Other veterans that use it, talk highly of it!

VA Hospitals are like civilian hospitals. All based on the Administration!

Well, I cannot help you with the warmth as I am a patient at the Middleton VA Hospital in Madison, WI...I feel I am very fortunate to have found this facility having been a patient formerly at the UW Hospital and Clinics here in Madison.....I moved to the VA Hospital for care and found that I am receiving care from the same Docs that I had at the UW in a much less pressured environment with a team of caretakers that is highly dedicated to insure that my health is well taken care of!
