I applied for an AGR position (thanks to the heads up from my PSG), and I now have an interview scheduled for later this month. Any advice on what to expect? <br /><br />I'm aware of who to expect on the panel, I am also prepared for many MOS related questions. Response by Capt Daniel Goodman made Oct 11 at 2019 6:07 PM2019-10-11T18:07:03-04:002019-10-11T18:07:03-04:00Capt Daniel Goodman5116260<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I'd wanted to go into the NY state defense force (SDF), the NY Guard (NYG), I just couldn't, as I'm total perm disabled, NYS insurance rules for NYG forbade it...I'd still wanna try going Civil Air Patrol (CAP) by us, we're on Long Island (LI), or maybe USCG Aux, as they have more operational stuff, incl clinical stuff, I'd been clinical doctoral allied health, we shut my license off so it wouldn't conflict with the total perm disability thing...I'd suggested to our dentist about the NYG, which he hadn't heard of, a dental friend of his is NY ARNG, he just wasn't sure if the life would be for him...he tried NYG at my suggestion, found he was suited, submitted for NY ARNG, got picked up, NYG released him...obv, his circumstances differed considerably from yours, certainly...I'd just figured maybe you might wanna look through the DMNA jobs page, being as if you want NY ARNG as you're saying you're trying for, you'd be under NYS DMNA, so I'd just figured maybe you might care to get familiar...lemme see if I can find other maybe relevant stuff you might find of use as well, if you'd care to chat at all, no rush, whenever you'd want, OK?
