If the commander authorized you to go in the hole for 15 days you'd lose half a month of base pay at your ETS.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made May 14 at 2019 8:34 PM2019-05-14T20:34:44-04:002019-05-14T20:34:44-04:00MSG John Duchesneau4636008<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I fail to see why you need 45 to 50 days of leave before you ETS. Honestly, I can't see why you would need more than 15. Of course, you can always ask for more leave than you have but, unless you have a VERY good reason, your commander probably won't grant it.Response by MSG John Duchesneau made May 14 at 2019 8:50 PM2019-05-14T20:50:07-04:002019-05-14T20:50:07-04:00SSG Lyle O'Rorke4636364<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It’s ETS leave. It’s not like you have to go back. Once you sign out you are on the books and get paid still for the days you have leave for. Use up what you have and thanks for your service.Response by SSG Lyle O'Rorke made May 15 at 2019 12:02 AM2019-05-15T00:02:42-04:002019-05-15T00:02:42-04:00MAJ Javier Rivera4637234<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>No, otherwise you’ll lose money and credited service. You are getting out. Why would the Army give you days that you will never earn back? If you are concerned that you need more days then go to your retention nco and re-up and simply save your days and work the system so you ETS with near 90 days. Done.Response by SSG Brian G. made May 15 at 2019 10:26 AM2019-05-15T10:26:36-04:002019-05-15T10:26:36-04:00SSG Michael Hale4647875<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>No I don’t think soResponse by SSG Michael Hale made May 18 at 2019 7:12 PM2019-05-18T19:12:34-04:002019-05-18T19:12:34-04:002019-05-14T19:41:09-04:00
