I have 16 years TIS and have completed my 153A packet. Does anyone know someone that has been selected with this many years in?

Also, does anyone know where the selection trends and/or percentages can be found? For some reason, I'm beginning to think selection rates are based off needs of the Army, and time of the year.

Yes, we had a prior SFC 12B who was selected with 15 years TIS, it is possible. Especially since Aviation is hurting for pilots.

They guys over at Vertical Reference have been trying to keep stats. I think there are so many different factors that affect the different boards but needs of the Army is always the number 1 factor.

At the end of the day, if you are a highly qualified candidate, you are good. The Army is not downsizing. Go for it. You dont want to be 80, sitting on your porch wondering what it.
