The path you are on is not a good place to be and if you don’t let someone talk with you about these feelings, it could lead to a dark place that no one wants to see you in. You have already taken the first step and asked the community here in Rally Point for help. I implore you to not let these emotions you are feeling fester any long. There are a lot of good people in the Army who will listen to what you have to say. You just have to be willing to take that next step and ask them. So in my book the best thing to do is talk to the next person in your COC start with your Platoon SGT and move up from there it is always better to take your support group with you to accomplish anything you need fixed. It is possible that your PLT SGT, and PLT LDR can for the immediate moment get you some relief. That would be less stress and let you move on smoothly. This step would allow you to fix one thing at a time and keep it as low profile as possible. <br />If you are close to ETS then the COC may be able you temp fix things so you can quietly just ETS and go to new and better things. In this day and age saying I quit will probably be enough, but you also might get a downgraded discharge too. Certainly not my area of expertise, but we had one guy in HQ 5/10 who basically did that and the Company Gunny helped him thru the process.
