However, Fort Lost in the Woods isn't really pedestrian friendly (from what I can remember). It may be quite a few miles from the gate to the graduation location.Response by SGT Javier Silva made Jul 29 at 2019 3:24 PM2019-07-29T15:24:37-04:002019-07-29T15:24:37-04:00Desiree Reyes4860953<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Yes you can. You’ll need a visitor pass before you can get on base. Make sure you have a valid form of ID like a drivers license and stop at the visitor center. Your graduate should have put your name on the list of visitors that will need a pass to get in base for the graduation.Response by Desiree Reyes made Jul 29 at 2019 3:25 PM2019-07-29T15:25:47-04:002019-07-29T15:25:47-04:00MSG Private RallyPoint Member4860969<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Most cab companies have permission to enter the base. I would highly recommend you contact the local cab company that services the base and see if they can take you to the actual point you need to get to.Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 29 at 2019 3:34 PM2019-07-29T15:34:08-04:002019-07-29T15:34:08-04:00Ashley Hernandez4860983<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I have taken a cab onto base before. The required documents to gain access is listed on this page <a target="_blank" href="https://home.army.mil/wood/index.php/my-fort/visitors-access">https://home.army.mil/wood/index.php/my-fort/visitors-access</a> . Since you won't have to stop at the visitor center this makes using a cab much easier (and cheaper) The local airport has put together an information paper for those flying in for graduation that has a number of embedded links including one for the taxi companies that are authorized on Ft Leavenworth. It is a good read from someone that has seen a lot of people in your situation. <a target="_blank" href="https://www.flyflw.com/services/travel-tips/traveling-to-flw">https://www.flyflw.com/services/travel-tips/traveling-to-flw</a> <div class="pta-link-card answers-template-image type-default">
