Flush with material wealth they gave freely to the less fortunate all over the world. Sadly, our ranking in this category has plummeted in recent times. Is it because we are less generous or because of something else? It seems that this show is designed to taunt us for our decline in charity.

Are we surprised that a television network would do this?

As I watched TV this morning, I caught a moment of Bill Gates lecturing us on the need to be charitable. He pissed me off.

To be honest, I am not as charitable as I once was. I can't afford it as I once did. I think maybe that's true for most of us.

Furthermore, our fearless leaders don't seem to want us to practice charity. As with most decisions, they seem to feel that they are better able to make them for us. For example, did you know that some American city governments are shutting down or limiting food banks because we don't donate the "right" sorts of food? Just give your money to the government and they'll make sure everyone eats (and the First Lady will design the menu).

Thus, I am not surprised that a TV network would air such a show. They have been providing cover for these politicians for the past few decades. It only seems natural that they should want to demonstrate how poorly equipped Americans are to manage their own charitable giving.

No, this has nothing to do with reality. It's all about the Left and reality has never darkened the pathways to their thinking...Response by CPT Jack Durish made May 31 at 2015 2:15 PM2015-05-31T14:15:52-04:002015-05-31T14:15:52-04:00MSG Brad Sand710365

Why is anyone surprised?
