Psych hospitals are also looking for BA/BS-level mental health aids on a pretty frequent basis. I recommend looking into those places, as they also can be good resource for finding an entry-level job when you graduate.

I am in Vermont, and finished my MA in CMHC a few years ago. That was my path (mental health aid, and then community mental health post-grad), and I was able to get all of my required licensure hours in just under a year and a half. So, when I applied after two years it was no problem.

Also, where are you doing your internship(s)?

Contact me if you have any questions.Response by SSgt Anthony Parmenter made Jul 17 at 2015 8:53 AM2015-07-17T08:53:46-04:002015-07-17T08:53:46-04:002014-08-18T10:54:24-04:00
