Google CEH jobs and see for yourself. The important thing though is to actually apply what you've learned and keep up with the CEU's. Not only to keep your certs current, but to stay relevant in the field. Nothing like a "cert collector" who gets the cert and then promptly forgets what they've learned. Just don't stop there. Today the big areas to get into involve incident response and cyber forensics. You can't go wrong with these kinds of certs but to be proficient at them you need to understand how the bad guys do what they do. CEH gives you insight into that. It didn't teach anything you didn't already know, although it attempted to explain the basic functionality of each tool covered. It was a one week night course (about 20 hours total), and probably covered about 800 tools, or about 1 a minute, which gives you an idea of the depth of discussion.

Of course I'd take anything someone else was paying for. The CEH is respected, although I'm more interested in defense rather than attack. I thought the CASP was a better course. True to the mentors here word, the exam was much more than what a bootcamp would be able to cover. Having years of background in the field and the right study materials made the difference. Thanks everyone!
