I am reclassing from 12N to 68W. Is AIT hard and does anybody have any tips?

Just study your A&P. It's not really that hard. The national registry test is tricky, just remember to pick the answer that most closely lines up with O2 and transport.

Unless Whiskey Land has slacked up a bit, do NOT expect ANY kind of slack for being a Reclass. Everyone is equal in Whiskey Land.....all at the dirt level.

28 years ago (when it was 91B Medical Specialist) it was a good idea to study a bit in the evenings and to pay attention and take notes in class. It was the most college-like training I took in the Army. It was also a bit more laid-back atmosphere than one encounters in other Army schools.

The most important thing is to get a handle on it all - not just pass. In many units, a medic, even a brand-new medic, can find themselves the ONLY medic at the scene of a real-world medical problem and you have to know what to do. But the school was pretty good and we had time to study.
