Most folks I know with ACU patterned equipment all told me that when they MOBed, they were given current colored TA-50. All your TA-50 will be provided to you at your pre mob station. I am not sure if they will take your old stuff though. When I went through pre-mob all I brought was my ACH and ACH Cover, and obviously extra uniforms. If deploying you should receive everything necessary, something your commander can negotiate with CIF. Definitely ask your first line leader as well.Response by SGT(P) Private RallyPoint Member made May 6 at 2020 3:02 PM2020-05-06T15:02:10-04:002020-05-06T15:02:10-04:00MAJ Private RallyPoint Member5858045<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I would bring it up through your chain of command, most states are to provide the new TA50 prior to mobe station. Clearing demobe is a pain and it would be much better for your to get it through your state CIF. If you have this issue so do other Soldiers.Response by MAJ Private RallyPoint Member made May 6 at 2020 4:09 PM2020-05-06T16:09:05-04:002020-05-06T16:09:05-04:00MAJ Byron Oyler5858105<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If you dont get issued something you really need and have no means to get it before deployment, that is a problem. If they gave you a mission packing list of stuff to bring to Ft Hood, bring it, even if it's UCP. Doesn't mean you'll bring it forward with you, as your RFI issue will be in OCP. And once you are issued OCP gear, do not get rid of any of your UCP gear or clothing until it is off your clothing record or CIF says they don't want the clothing items back. People have been bit by this when it's time to leave the Army.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made May 16 at 2020 7:19 AM2020-05-16T07:19:17-04:002020-05-16T07:19:17-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member6102192<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I have the same problem. And get conflicting information or people tell me get with supply. From what I understand you supply Sgt should get a list of all gear that RFI has to offer. Then they pick what they need and send it back to RFI. Then The supply Sgt should know what to tell you. This list from RFI I’ll probably come last minute. I have Pestered my unit for months and we are coming down to the wire and still not received the ( unicorn) list.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 14 at 2020 8:36 PM2020-07-14T20:36:47-04:002020-07-14T20:36:47-04:00SPC Angel Estrella6132635<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I use to work for CIF under Retired Sergeant Major Henry, on Camp Mabry. The only time you would bring your TA-50 to RFI if your are trying to transition from UCP to OCP, which you need to get with your Supply Sergeant to see if He or Her has the company funds to acquire you the new patterns. If it is to get gear for your deployment, unless specified by your supply Sergeant, then you don’t need to bring anything. Camp Mabry, Tx CIF authorizes when you ETS to do a walk-in, however you MUST do a showdown with you Supply Sergeant prior to you showing up. If you were missing an item and you get charged for that item you missed, after you return that item you missed and paid for. You will not be refunded the money.Response by SPC Angel Estrella made Jul 23 at 2020 8:25 PM2020-07-23T20:25:22-04:002020-07-23T20:25:22-04:002020-05-06T14:30:52-04:00
