I recently had a sleep study done and my MSLT results revealed I have narcolepsy. It was brought to my attention that IAW AR 40-501, narcolepsy is disqualifying. It’s been a month and I just got a higher dose of my medication. Will I really be sent for MEB? Or will I be fine if it is controlled? I’m trying to see if anyone knows or has an experience with this, since I just reuped for 6 more years.

That's a very good question, if the meds can help you, fine. The decision would probably be up to your commander, or higher up. Hopefully he or she waits to see what the Dr.s say about the treatment and how well it is working for you.
