I am currently on my third recurring hernia. What may happen career-wise? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/i-am-currently-on-my-third-recurring-hernia-what-may-happen-career-wise <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>This is my third recurring hernia in the inguinal area. The first one was when I was there years old (reported at MEPS) The second one was in 2018 roughly 5-6 months into my contract, and now I have my current one which happened at the beginning of this year that I&#39;m still waiting for a surgery for. Considering this is my third hernia in the same spot, will it ruin my chances of trying to stay in? I would like to re-enlist but if worst comes to worse then I guess it&#39;s for the best. Any advice is appreciated. Thu, 07 May 2020 23:51:22 -0400 I am currently on my third recurring hernia. He recently retired as an CSM with I’ve 30 years of service. He did so by studying his situation and working with a physical therapist. I would think that they would have to operate to repair the weak spot in your ab muscles SrA John Monette Fri, 08 May 2020 08:03:44 -0400 2020-05-08T08:03:44-04:00 Response by SFC Ralph E Kelley made May 8 at 2020 8:55 AM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/i-am-currently-on-my-third-recurring-hernia-what-may-happen-career-wise?n=5864532&urlhash=5864532 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Well I recommend going out, drinking beer and finding a girlfrie... Sorry wrong forum.<br />Something is making you carry too much weight. <br />Without more details I can&#39;t advise. See a specialist MD about why? Try to get the current one to recommend the specialist - it may be not his expertise. SFC Ralph E Kelley Fri, 08 May 2020 08:55:48 -0400 2020-05-08T08:55:48-04:00 2020-05-07T23:51:22-04:00
