You will have work to do to study up either way but it will help you self-test yourself repeatedly and feel confident going in to the cert exam. I'm an X4 that just left Keesler last March. I wouldn't have posted this on here as it could quite possibly be construed as test compromise. If you know it, great. If you don't know it, figure out why. That's the best way. You need to know the information, not just memorize it. I had studied in my off time during BOLC and took the test. 1LT Private RallyPoint Member Thu, 10 Mar 2016 10:20:23 -0500 2016-03-10T10:20:23-05:00 Response by SSgt David Sandlin made Mar 10 at 2016 12:27 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/i-am-currently-in-class-for-security-i-m-looking-for-the-best-way-to-prepare-for-the-certificafion-exam-in-the-9-days-we-have-to-learn-it?n=1369558&urlhash=1369558 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I recommend you find a new AFSC. I ended up reading Clarke thoroughly and taking notes as I read through it. I would compare terms between what I read in Clarke and what Gibson defined terms as in his book. It was my second time testing, but I think the second time was easier after having a foundation of knowledge from Gibson, and then expanding upon that with how Clarke described things. Clarke went more in depth about the terms and concepts, sometimes a little too much, but that helped to fully understand them. Biggest achievement of my Air Force career thus far, and plan to continue to persevere through any obstacles I face in the future.
