Kakhi's are the Navy's working class B's if I understand correctly and would be the equivalent of Army Class B uniform with short sleeve shirt and open collar. The Training NCO's and Soldiers should be in Class A but as a visitor you aren't held to that standard. Yes Summer Whites are acceptable if you so choose.Response by SFC Quinn Chastant made Apr 9 at 2018 6:26 PM2018-04-09T18:26:55-04:002018-04-09T18:26:55-04:00LT Private RallyPoint Member3528594<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>SFC Chastant would Summer Whites be looked poorly upon?Response by LT Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 9 at 2018 6:29 PM2018-04-09T18:29:50-04:002018-04-09T18:29:50-04:00Sgt Private RallyPoint Member3528702<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div><a class="dark-link bold-link" role="profile-hover" data-qtip-container="body" data-id="457052" data-source-page-controller="question_response_contents" href="/profiles/457052-290x-nurse-corps-officer">LT Private RallyPoint Member</a> Ma'am, when I served, there were regulations that governed what uniforms to wear depending on the season. The information below might help. I've always tried to match the "uniform of the day" if at a "non-Navy" event. I don't know what the Army wears for graduation from Basic (Class A perhaps?)...but if it's equivalent to our "Service Dress", then obviously the matching Navy uniform would be SDW for summer. However, I think the guidance below suggesting Summer Whites isn't out of bounds. From my perspective-it's "easier" if you think about the event taking place in fall/winter. FDB wouldn't be "practical" if a guest...so I'd wear SDB, and from I recall, SW was always the seasonal equivalent. I think the only "no-go" would be CNTs (do we even have that one anymore?-impossible to keep up these days, LOL!).Response by LCDR Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 10 at 2018 8:08 AM2018-04-10T08:08:33-04:002018-04-10T08:08:33-04:00SSG Jose M.
