When you have Active duty years it cuts down the age of what you are. so I believe with only 2.5 years of active duty you are over the age limit. Would also need a waiver for the RE3 code.

But like everything else check with your local recruiter he has all the facts.Response by SFC(P) Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 29 at 2018 12:29 PM2018-06-29T12:29:44-04:002018-06-29T12:29:44-04:00SSgt Private RallyPoint Member3753676

PFC Brandon Overby Most Guard units have a higher ceiling for enlistment. In my case, I can get into the MO Air Guard up until I hit 42; only ~2 yrs prior service.Response by SSgt Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 29 at 2018 1:40 PM2018-06-29T13:40:29-04:002018-06-29T13:40:29-04:001SG Timothy Trewin3934800

Is your medical RE3 issue resolved? If not then that medical condition/conditions could hold you back as much if not more than your age. But as others said only a recruiter can tell you for sure.Response by 1SG Timothy Trewin made Sep 3 at 2018 6:43 PM2018-09-03T18:43:38-04:002018-09-03T18:43:38-04:002018-06-29T12:24:47-04:00
