Just trying to take it easy...but that is hard to do at times. We are connected to each other person and what happens to the whole happens also to the individual. I have seen the flag at half staff more than I have seen it at full more than ever in my life!!! What does that say about our country???

I have been getting better results from the VA for my back. I have been able to try to run again, very short distances, but still an improvement.

Definitely the word "Progress" I have managed to fight my PTSD and become more social, I have bought a house, and i have found a place to volunteer and help other veterans with PTSD and other conditions that make them less able or willing to be out among others. Thanks for the inclusion in this post COL Mikel J. Burroughs , always good to look back and see what the year has brought us.

Changes. This was my first year of retirement. I have had some minor health changes and many changes to my responses to outside stimuli. Changes from myself controlling my world around to realizing God has always been in control of my world. I am here today because of what God has done, not I. My biggest change has been instead of using God as a life saving ring when I was drowning to actively seeking God to see what He wants me to do.
