I'd ask what is needed in the ultra competitive corporate world and assess if you are better off making that transition now or after using Army programs to their fullest to get ready. If you're sure you've done all that and have a solid short term, midterm, and long term plan, then go for it. But, if you don't currently have a job offer equivalent to what you make now and aren't prepared for not having a job for up to 6 months, tread softly.
