Trump is a landslide for Bernie. Bernie is a socialist, but he is also a realist. He said during the primaries that he opposed gun control laws because he represented the people of Vermont, and they didn't want government limitation on their rights. That says to me that he at least read the Constitution, and would be more reasonable than Donald. I don't agree with his political views, but he would be a far more agreeable candidate in my independent eyes than the demon spawn sea hag that they nominated.

As for the Republican side it would greatly depend on who they had run in place of Donald. If it was someone like Ted Cruz, then it would be a similar situation to where we are now: Which absolutely shit candidate is going to screw the country up the least. If they ran someone more moderate then it would be a landslide for the Republicans.

Right now over half of the people have a negative view of both Donald and Hillary. That means that regardless of who wins the election, they are going sneaking in the back door of the White House rather than knocking down the door with a mandate from the American People. The real problem is that neither of these two soup sandwiches is smart enough to realize that. They will go in thinking that people love them, when the reality is that most of the people would put more trust in a cobra down their shorts than either one of them.

It is my sincere hope that this election cycle will open the door to serious discussion about getting rid of political parties altogether, no primary elections that are paid for with tax dollars, just candidates on the ballot, in November. Whomever receives the most electoral votes wins the election regardless of whether they hit the "magic number"Response by PO3 Steven Sherrill made Oct 25 at 2016 7:08 PM2016-10-25T19:08:40-04:002016-10-25T19:08:40-04:00LCpl Cody Collins2012222

My head hurts just dealing with this, now you want it to explode with the ( What if ) . ; )Response by LCpl Cody Collins made Oct 25 at 2016 7:38 PM2016-10-25T19:38:42-04:002016-10-25T19:38:42-04:00MAJ Bryan Zeski2012273

I think Clinton would give other candidates a run for their money, but would lose. People blindly follow their party and the parties are both experts at character assassination (though dems seem better at making it effect votes). If people cared about the candidates then we wouldn't be in this situation... Hillary, Obama and most of the Democrat Party would be behind bars for a long, long time and Donald would be back to being a reality tv star loved by the media... but instead, the party picks a candidate and the flock follows the commands of the shepherd.Response by SPC(P) Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 26 at 2016 1:45 AM2016-10-26T01:45:17-04:002016-10-26T01:45:17-04:002016-10-25T17:38:56-04:00
