How would Social Security insolvency affect your life?

Multiple media outlets have reported this week that Social Security will become insolvent in 2033.

It would hurt but not cripple. Good question though. That would have to mean Medicare would go under, and with it the Health Care Industry

that would not be good .. that would hurt my feelings, my $finances$ account, and would set my P.T.S.D. to no end in sight as such, but I would settle down after a while .. though I am thankful for that, and my V.A. disability, I would find a way to make ends meet to a certain point .. I am almost 64 now.

The oinch on the budget would be felt, but that's why we played the long run and planned for several streams of income...

Aside from my ire at government incompetence rising a hair, not much. I am young enough to not yet be on Social Security, and wise enough to have planned for life without it.

Not if they’d take the $120,000 cap off it,so the wealthy are paying the same 7% on there annual income as the welder.
