I just had come off mission and was going back out in three hours he wanted me to shower up before I could eat I found out later he was a 1st LT but did not identify himself at the time was I right or wrong for forceably Removing his hand from my chest what say you RP freinds

Just from what I read, I'd say you were both on the wrong side of right.....and please hear me out:

1) You just got done with mission and headed to the DFAC, I gather, to get chow. As a Preventive Medicine NCO, this is a serious sanitation hazard that most (if not all) DFACs will not allow as it is possible to contaminate other peoples food and the food on the line with whatever dirt and sweat that is on your body.
2) The 1LT should have identified himself and also should not have laid a hand on you.
3) You lost your cool by getting physical as well.

Both parties were a little on the unprofessional side. But again, that's simply my opinion.

My experience with officers is limited, slowly improving that but to me it could/should be settled with a laugh and apology after a short period of rest. At least Soldier to Soldier anyway, again limited experience with officers and the dynamic that brings to the situation.

I never heard of a LT making someone skip chow to take a shower.Also,If he was a LT,How is it you did not know?We have a dress code and his rank was on his unfiorm.Also,(Addressed as "Lieutenant")
A seasoned lieutenant with 18 to 24 months service. Leads more specialized weapons platoons and indirect fire computation centers. As a senior Lieutenant, they are often selected to be the Executive Officer of a company-sized unit (110 to 140 personnel). What unite are you in? Ever mission I went on,We never made it back for chow.We had MRE'S But something does. Not sound right.Howlong have you been deployed?

Well you are pretty sparse with the details. It was wrong for him to put his hands on you to begin with, but then you say you forcibly removed his hand from your chest. Did you just swat it away or did you put him in an arm hold and break his hand. Lots of details missing.

Now I don't know what rank you were when this occurred, but if someone is trying to correct me, I tend to automatically assume they are of a higher rank. That doesn't excuse him putting his hand on you to correct you, but it also doesn't excuse your response.

In my opinion, I think both parties were wrong. He was wrong for the way he initiated the encounter and you were wrong for the response. This is just going off the sparse details that were presented.

I agree with everyone here in that the LT did not act appropriately; however, it doesn't seem that he did anything particularly threatening or intentionally disrespectful either. The fact that you've taken time out to present the incident in this forum suggests that either you feel terribly bad for overreacting, or you just want to rant about junior officers. If it's the former, don't sweat it; you basically did the same thing he did. If the latter, you have some growing up to do, Sergeant.

hmmm... nobody on our teams ever wore rank in the field, we knew each other and stuck to ourselves. as i recall, under the UCMJ an officer is not allowed to manhandle his troops anymore than a prive can manhandle the old man. let it slide. but perhaps a word with the young ELL TEE in question might be in order. you ARE an E-7, that is not just joe snuffy, you deserve respect as well

I won't throw any more weight into the right/wrong mix as the tribe seems to be tilting to both on the wrong side of center. What struck me is this might be a REMF mentality incident in which overseas the question would be "Is that all you did?" and in CONUS "You Dumb A!" I was an E-3 on a Tin Can pulling into Subic after the ship getting banged up. Reefers down for a week, hotter than hell, you get the picture. I was in my working uniform and asked the Chief if I could grab a cold Coke out of the machine on the dock. Sure go ahead and get one for me too. Easy right? Then a REMF type stopped me at the bottom of the gangway and told me I had to be in the Uniform of the Day to take another step. I had this imploring look at the Chief who just sent a few other sailors down so we could all deposit the REMF into the dumpster... the one with food waste no less. So this was a case of someone doing something purely because they can (hubris) and damn the result on the receiving end. Whatever you do, my advice is not give away opportunities for you to be made the problem vs. the first idiotic piece. Just think of polite compliance and word getting back up on how the ENL side was treated that day. If a good CoC, just grab a ticket and watch the show.

The structuring of your paragraph is terrible. Punctuation would help. You need to lead off saying the person had their hands on you in beginning not the end.
