How would I acquire a re-enlistment waiver for a Chapter 11?

I would like to reenlist but looking at my dd214 I am not sure if I can. I believe I was told i can reenlist with a waiver when I got out but how would I aquire a waiver and for what exactly? Some context to help: Discharge, uncharacterized, AR 635-200 Ch11, JGA RE-3, entry level
I joined at 18. Had alot going on back at home and could not adapt. I am now 27 with a family of my own and starting rotc next semester in college and would like to reenlist if possible.

I'm certainly not an expert, i would speak with a recruiter, but barring some form of bad conduct by you i don't see why you couldn't get a waiver. Ch 11 is very broad and covers a lot of circumstances, without all the specifics it's hard to really advise you.

Not sure if this helps but I was active for 2 and a half years messed up on 2 PT test and got put out with a Honorable discharge with a RE3 code (Ineligible unless a waiver is granted) and I am on the process of getting back in it’s not hard if you have no type of bad conduct or been in trouble since you have been discharged just go to a recruiter and tell them you want in and make sure you are at the army weight standards for when you get to MEPS

I’m curious. If you qualify for ROTC, how do you not qualify for re-enlistment?

Make sure the service didn't give you a Psych disorder diagnosis..such as adjustment disorder. One problem I see is you are blaming problems back home, which disacossiates your responsibility for the failure of the enlistment. This is common....maybe you just didn't like it.

As long as you still meet all requirements, you are able to re-enlist in the Military 6 months after chapter 11.

Your best course of action is to contact a recruiter. He/she can let you know your options and what has to be done so you can re-join the Army. Good Luck to you....
