Also retention gave me the option to choose my follow on duty station. I picked Fort Sam as my first choice and Fort Huachuca as my second one. What is the probability that I will end up with my first pick? Thank you in advance. How will 92F AIT be like for a E5?2020-11-17T23:13:34-05:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member6508826<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Reclassing to 92F. Your chance of getting either of those is slightly above zero. More likely, you'll get something like Riley, Drum, Bliss, Hood, Koea, etc. You can still go onto your ASK and list your preferred duty stations. They are still just preferences and you'll get whatever the Army has available with a report date that's close to your graduation date.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 18 at 2020 12:13 AM2020-11-18T00:13:49-05:002020-11-18T00:13:49-05:00SPC Kyle Rauch6509083<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>AIT for 92F MOS-T in 2010 was a bit odd. They were trying to tell us that we couldn’t drink in the barracks. We also weren’t allowed to have tv’s but the boots were. We ended up having alcohol and tv’s in our rooms but jest kept them out of view. We were separated from the boots and would just meet them at the school house. It was. I’ve not having to March all over the place with them.Response by SPC Kyle Rauch made Nov 18 at 2020 3:31 AM2020-11-18T03:31:21-05:002020-11-18T03:31:21-05:00SSG Chris Gursky6509755<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>there’s about a 10% chance of you getting those posts, personally I think they’ll send you to Poland or KoreaResponse by SSG Chris Gursky made Nov 18 at 2020 8:34 AM2020-11-18T08:34:14-05:002020-11-18T08:34:14-05:00SPC Private RallyPoint Member6511753<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Hey, I’m here right now in Fort Lee. My class starts next week. MOS-T life is pretty sweet. I got a buddy here who is also a Reclass E5. They treat us differently. We just show up for PT and class. That’s about it. We are free to roam the base. Although I think outside is currently restricted due to COVID, so I think GO1 is currently in progress. <br /><br />So far it’s chill. Haven’t did squat. Most rest I’ve ever gotten in the army yet.Response by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 18 at 2020 8:09 PM2020-11-18T20:09:11-05:002020-11-18T20:09:11-05:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member6517230<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It’s hard work being 92F Soldier and challenging but if stay motivated, inspired, and lead from the front that’s the first few steps climbing the ladder of success. I’ve learned so much my 9 1/2 years. Currently a 92F AIT Instructor there isn’t no better job in the Army than training our 92F10 level AIT Soldiers on fuel operations.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 20 at 2020 2:40 PM2020-11-20T14:40:36-05:002020-11-20T14:40:36-05:00SPC Private RallyPoint Member6539519<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I dont know what ait is like now, but from when i went through we had an E-5 go through as prior service. This Sgt was mostly there only for morning formation, pt, and then school. His chow times and after school was like at a normal duty station. <br /><br />Good luck on going to Ft. Sam without being a medical mos. Like most will say, its just a wishlist. Most likely, you should end up like most and when the time gets closer to you either initially getting to ait or leaving you will know where you will end up.Response by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 30 at 2020 4:33 AM2020-11-30T04:33:18-05:002020-11-30T04:33:18-05:002020-11-17T23:13:34-05:00
