When you talk about jihadis and their failed nations, and their belief that death in battle with an enemy is a good thing, I think that the concept of deterrence has been lost. In the context of conventional weapons, the answer is yes. Just look back to any time when a country&#39;s leader decided to do some sabre rattling.
