I signed a DEC statement on Active Duty in order to transition to the USAR. Now that I am successfuly in the USAR, I cannot re-enlist due to the 9Q code. The career counselor told me my local S1 must do it, but they are unfamilair with this situation. Thanks!

Thank you for sharing. I did read that one, but I believe this situation is a little different as I have already assessed into the USAR.

Sounds like you tried to play a little card trick and maybe overshot your hand. There is no guarantee they will drop the code. It was placed there because you declined continued service (and whatever else may have occurred). I wish you luck, and if my assessment is incorrect.
