My unit turned over the paperwork to Battalion a couple weeks later. It wasn't signed until January of this year. It's been turned over to Brigade to get signed. I've been pestering our admin Sgt. For updates. I worry that the release is just going to sit on someone's desk for months. Is there anything I can do?
The only way the form made it through Battalion was that the admin Sgt. Called Battalion and they signed the form immediately but she said that she cannot do the same to get it through Brigade. Any suggestions? How to keep ational Guard to Army Conditional Release moving up the chain? 2019-03-03T12:03:04-05:00 SPC Private RallyPoint Member 4416627

I turned in my conditional release stuff in September of 2018. If your BN or BDE is signing anything, it is a 4187 where they "recommend" or "non-recommend" approval of the 368. Only the G1 has approval authority, and even that is delegated from your TAG.
The conditional release packet should not need to spend more than two weeks at BN and two weeks at BDE to get to your state G1. Either it moves up or it gets kicked back for corrections. Anything longer than two weeks indicates either lazy or incompetent AGRs that don't know the process, to include at your unit level.
Your AGR should be sending an email weekly to your BN and BDE S1 sections, with your CO and you in the cc line, to follow up on this until it is signed by G1.
If your AGR can't or won't do that, then spend a few minutes at the unit to figure out the email addresses for your BN and BDE S1 (AGR) sections, and your CO if you don't have that yet, and send that weekly email yourself, and cc your unit AGR.
