How can I be recruited as a foreigner?

I'm a 23 year old foreigner and I'd like to join the military but I don't have any clue as to how a foreigner can get into the recruitment process.

You can join the service if you are a Green Card Resident Alien. There are a number of Military Occupations that you won't qualify without being a Citizen, but you can join.
Military Service will also shorten the time you need to apply for Citizenship.

Legal US residents can enlist. You'd have to go talk to a recruiter about the process for whatever branch you want to join.

Contact your local recruiting office. There are eligibility requirements and your recruiter can review that with you.

If you are not a Naturalized Citizen of the US, you will not be able to enlist.
