I am sure that that complaints have been lodged through diplomatic channels --- I really don't think we'll see much more than that happen. As the article points out, CBP has created a unit to coordinate and interact with Mexican officials to keep this from happening. I have seen this unit in action and they are making good progress.

Communicate and work with their government and law enforcement. We have got to continue to work with our neighbors.

The Mexicans have been doing these sorts of things for 150 years. Not that I think a punitive expedition would be a good thing, but can you image what Trump might want to do LOLOL.

With reciprocity; the same way they would treat our troops if we crossed over into Mexico.
