I owe that to them. They need to know what they&#39;re doing wrong, what their doing right and what they can improve on. I never got that and I might be further along if I did but I don&#39;t hold that against anyone. Mind you it&#39;s been seven years since I was in, but that was my observation. At the time I knew no different. However, now that I&#39;m int he civilian world with a company that not only actively promotes both professional and person development and goes as far as to set aside working hours to allow for it, I feel that this could be a major area for improvement (assuming the trend still stands since my leaving). <br /><br />The research bears out, companies investing in training develop far more valuable human assets and increase retention and job satisfaction.
