Denied. But that's only because I am in Iraq. But when I return to garrison the Post Commander is going to have to install clearing barrels in front of every building for these guns. Break out the thunder and lightning!

Saw some on Ft. Gordon yesterday but then again most TRADOC heavy posts embrace change.
Think I am going to do it today after cutting the cake for the 98th birthday of the Warrant Officer this morning. Its going to be epic hot.

Yesterday Fort Riley made it mandatory while in garrison until mid October, the CG made a video for social media about it

Almost all of 25th ID is falling in to the sleeve-rolling thing. Technically, USARHAW higher command directed all subordinate commands in Hawaii to roll up, but it's taking a while for it to finally trickle down/subordinate commanders to stop bucking. All in all, though, I'd say about 75% of Schofield is sleeves up at the moment, if not more.

Our battalion finally got the go-ahead this past Thursday, I know the 82nd got the OK almost as soon as it came down from Big Army

Here they have people rolling up their pants twice and rolling their sleeves twice. But nobody will give the ok to do a full roll of sleeves. Yay TRADOC.

25ID and TAMC are a GO. I saw 20 people last week with rolled and unfortunately only 1 had it right. I'm not a fan at all, and I was there during the BDU days.

Friends in 1st CAV Fort Hood says it was mandatory for them and I am here at Fort Bragg and got told its was mandatory for all of 82nd to have sleeves rolled up from the 82nd Commander and SGM.

Other. With the Velcro on the upper arm, it makes it nearly impossible to roll past the elbow. So rolling sleeves to the elbow is more or less useless. I also like having my pens in the holders. With the Woodland BDUs, you could roll the sleeves up to your mid-bicep, and I did that all during the warmer months.

My whole Army Reserve Battalion got the go-ahead just yesterday during drill, but for now it's not mandatory. I did it mostly for the novelty after 8 years of sleevery and actually enjoyed it more then I thought I would, but some new guys didn't see the point. They will learn

I saw the 82nd guys with sleeves up at BRAGG last week. It looks crappy if you ask me! BDUs looked better.
