Virtually None to those that Worship the Myth of Ronald Reagan. Having been Knee Deep, Having to handle the messages of Several Operations during the Reagan Administration my View is Significantly Different and more based on the Facts I know.

Well it did not hurt his legacy, because Reagan is the gold standard for the Republican party nominees at all levels of government. I believe most Republicans would say that Reagan was the best President of all times, so again to answer your question he legacy did not take a hit to those who he matters to the most.

It didn't really have much of a impact in long term. The Haters cared, but no one else did. Its just politics. Those in power are the target of those who are not. Both sides do it on a regular basis. The funny part is that each side claims that they don't.

This will always be a sore spot on his rep no matter what is said or done. Kinda made one wonder at the time just how smart he really was to be bamboozled by his handlers into approving or turning a blind eye to something like that. It was and is a real disappointment and not helped by the notoriety garnered by ON from the deal. No doubt much worse has gone on since then which we know nothing about.

How is it that you consistently make posts that have headlines that are clearly designed to irritate a large majority of RP? Even if you don't have an opinion one way or another on the issue, the perception is that the headline is written to get as many people as possible to post an opposite argument.
