Often times he took it right to the edge of what would be considered indecent. That impact transcends his music, and has impact many other artists in subsequent years. He was flamboyant, and definitely a showman. Darlin' Nicki, Raspberry Beret, Little Red Corvette all songs that were highly provocative. Purple Rain and When Dove's Cry poignant songs. <br /><br />As for a favorite, that is an impossible question. I don't have a favorite. I will say Purple Rain as a favorite album.
