He would have probably continued to record and would be an activist for peace. Afer 9/11 I reflected on his music; Some might say the messages are naively idealistic; but the message of his music made me think spiritually and hopefully among the horrors we experience and/or see in the news. His message which first came out during Vietnam days, still resonates today. RIP John. I wish we had good pop musicians today. With a very few exceptions, pop music today is terrible; especially hip-hop; softer R&amp;B is not like your grampas R&amp;B either; it always sounds off-key!
