<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>As SGT Robert Johnson noted, you can put your preferences into Army Satisfaction Key (ASK) but after 10+ years of Active Duty, I never once got posted to any installation I requested.<br /><br />As for a &quot;Dream Sheet&quot; I never got one before I went to BCT at Fort Benning. I guess that must be a recruiter to recruiter variable.<br /><br />However, knowing how the Army operates, if you want to stay local to where you are, you will be sent to the farthest place possible from your home. Every time I asked to be sent back to the East Coast, I got sent further west, until I returned from Korea and got it in writing.
