I got her in 2010 after my little Hans had gone to The Rainbow Bridge. Layla had a buddy Penny whom we lost the day after Christmas in 2016. Layla was still born but was given life to live. She has been my constant companion since my wife passed away. She can read my mind I think. She understands so much, has a large vocabulary and offers unconditional love always. Needless to say I love this little companion and I thing the feeling is mutual.
