Mine has gone every where I have and it's survived two divorces and three kids. It's got more salt than I ever will. It even got "appropriated" once and I retrieved it with a vengeance.

I love woodland one so much ( had it since I joined 13 years ago) that when I had to turn it in I bought another one to turn in instead. We've been through a lot together.

I have been out for 10 years now and I still use it all the time. When not in use it stays folded in the living room blanket basket or gets draped over the coffee table to be used as a Fort by one of the kids.

It was the only real item that I would have sucked up a Statement of Charges for when I did my final out form CIF. Instead they gave it to me as a present and checked off that I turned it in. And now it remains in my car for emergency situations or gets put on my bike for any run or trip that may last overnight.

Even soaking wet a woobie will still keep you warm! It will even give shade, and will always bring a battle buddy closer to share the warmth when he forgot his! always, always, always first on the packing list in my book! It's kinda like American Express! NEVER leave home with out it!

I went a bought an extra one for home. I use both for my bunk bunk bedroll when it is hotter out. In the winter I use a woobie and a wool Army blanket

This is, in my humble opinion, the most essential piece of TA-50 that is issued today. As long as you have your weapon, your boots, a knife and your woobie, you'll be fine.
