My ancestors participated as Templar Knights who fought alongside King Richard the Lion heart in the 3rd Crusade also known as the Kings Crusade. In 2009 I was contacted by my order the Hereditary Knights Templar's Of Britannia informing me that our families title had been passed to me, I was honored. I received a couple of journals, a Damascus knife, my title papers and family documents. Very recently King Richards remains were found under a parking lot outside London and an effort to fully recover him was launched and completed so now he will at some point be buried in the Templar Church in London.
