How many think people should be given trophies for coming in second place?

Thats kind of a loaded question, if there were two teams only, it doesn't mean a thing, that just a participation trophy and worthless. If however their were multiple teams for example 15 teams played and there was a 1st and 2 place thats fine. Then its an actual accomplishment as runner up and not just a trophy for being there.

Yeah.... I mean.... the Olympics have first second and third for Christ sake.... But between two competitors then no. You have to define exactly what is going on before a judgement can be made.
